Just One Fun Story
Is there such a thing? As previously mentioned Lee is a huge fan so I can’t help but share this story.
Lee plays hockey and around 3 years ago Lee had a practice followed by a playoff game. There was only 2 hours in between the two and it was way on the other side of the city. It didn’t make sense to go home in between. So where else did we go? For coffee of course.
Ruth’s coffee was up first and it was a warm day so she waited outside for Lee and I. Next up was my mocha. The barista was drizzling the caramel sauce over Lee’s frappuccino when the lid slipped off and a whole bunch of caramel landed on his drink. The barista was very kind and offered to make Lee a new one to which Lee said “No thanks, this is good”.
Needless to say by the time we reached the arena and were entering the change room Lee was absolutely wired. I can sum up the game with Lee scored 4 goals and his team won 7 – 2. After the game the coach said to me “Lee was on fire tonight”. I explained to the coach about what took place between the practice and the game.
Let me finish by saying that to this day when Lee arrives for a game the coach always asks the same question, “Has Lee had his caramel yet?”.
