Introduction
You know we are all about the drive thru or takeout usually followed by trying to get home without touching the food on the way. The weather is starting to warm up so we are now getting into being outdoors and enjoying that food picnic style. This absolutely demands sound for some atmosphere and that brings us to today’s topic.
I was very fortunate a while ago to have won an 
It more than fits our picnic and outdoor needs. Let me tell you all about it.

This speaker is loaded with features. First off it is wireless and uses Bluetooth to connect to devices. Both IOS and Android Apps are available that allow setup of playlists and to customize usage. Pairing is easy by holding down the pairing button on the top of the speaker to put it in pairing mode and then selecting BOOM 3 in your device’s Bluetooth Settings. On top of the speaker you will also find the power button and what is called the magic button. The magic button can used to control playback of playlists configured in the mobile app. On the side of the speaker you will find volume controls buttons for convenience.
One of the coolest features of this speaker is that it is waterproof and it floats. Again always be sure to adhere to all manufacturer’s instructions and FAQ suggestions. The speaker’s waterproof rating(IP67) is such that it can withstand being at a depth of 1 meter or 40 inches for a period of 30 minutes without damage. If your speaker is either in the ocean where there is a high salt content or in a swimming pool where there is chemicals be sure to rinse it thoroughly with fresh water. Always make sure to let it fully dry before using again or charging.
Charging can be done with the USB charging cable that comes with the speaker or using the Ultimate Ears Power Up Charging Dock
One more time always be sure to adhere to all manufacturer’s instructions and FAQ suggestions. Another great feature of the speaker is that it is shockproof or drop-proof, always great features to have.
Another important feature is the sound quality. The speaker provides powerful sound and great base!

This speaker sounds awesome! Waterproof and it floats? I love taking bubble baths and I usually play music, but I’m afraid to get my phone wet so I always leave it on the counter which means I have to play the music louder, so it would be nice to have a speaker closer.
